catching up

so i've decided to make up for loss time by posting whenever i feel or can.. since i haven't really been doing a good job of doing this daily. (if you haven't read my very first entry, you should so you can get a drift of what i'm trying to accomplish).

today i worked in the morning but really didn't get much done. had to supervise some other workers and had no time to get any of my actual projects completed so... here it goes. after work, i decided to drop by KIMSKI and browse. the buyer does an excellent job of mixing in affordable downtown (jaba) outfits with the hard to find specialty vintage items they carry. i've posted about them before (post with the purple wranglers!!) i got this amazing black dress/cape thing that i will post a picture of soon. i've also decided to post what i buy because i realize that i always write what i buy but never post... hmmm. fail.

after my shopping adventure @kimski (which the benefit of knowing the owner means discounts fo lyfe woot woot) i picked up my 80$ dry cleaning which was in little tokyo as well. i really HATE doing dry cleaning in dtla because theres a little mom and pop shop in arcadia that literally costs me half the price of doing it in the city. the price you pay when you wear silk/cashmere and other beautiful fabrics that make me feel rich and fabulous.
le sigh.

ryan and i laid out at his pool (last tan lines for the year, i assume) while he read his market/stocks book and i read my own book- Onward. it's that starbucks book which is actually really great to read especially when you plan to own your own company. very inspiring.

i'm going to post a picture of an outfit i wore a few weeks ago that i didn't get a chance to post. i really loved high low skirts and dresses this year and this is another one i got at the LF sale. it's similar to the dress i posted previously of but this ones just a skirt.

enjoy!

CLU sweater (i got at a sample sale.. holla!)
LF skirt (got at a sale!!)

i've found that A'gaci has the cutest cheapest booties
that are the best to run around in at work.
i love cheap shoes for work because they get beaten up pretty fast
so.. don't expect me to bust out my Chanel flats at work.
gotta catch up on my new favorite show.. SUITS!! see jew latah
